Sketch

A study from a photograph, drawn in my sketchbook. I decided to leave the rendering incomplete, preserving the transition from a sketch on the left to finished on the right. I think this lends the drawing a transient, ethereal quality, as if the model has turned to look at something beyond our view, something we will never know.
